Badass Baked Potato
Russet potatoes make the best baked potatoes because of their thick skin and starchy, fluffy interior (once baked, of course). Don’t use the waxy kind and don’t skimp on the oil.
Ingredients
- 4 russet potatoes, scrubbed
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Pierce potatoes all over with a fork. Rub with oil and season generously with salt and pepper, then place on a baking sheet.
- Bake until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork, 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.
